By accessing or using Autism Spectrum Help ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Who May Use the App

The App is intended for parents, guardians, and caregivers of individuals on the autism spectrum. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Children may use the App under direct parental supervision.

3. Not Medical Advice

Content and AI companions on this platform are for informational and emotional support purposes only. Nothing on Autism Spectrum Help constitutes medical, therapeutic, legal, or professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for medical, therapeutic, or legal decisions.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You may not share your account with others.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Delete Account page.

5. Community Standards

You agree not to:

• Post harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Harass or bully other users
• Share false or misleading information
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts that violate community standards.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. All pricing is clearly displayed before purchase. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. For full refund terms, see our Refund Policy.

7. Device Permissions

• Camera: Requested only when you initiate a video chat. Never recorded or stored.
• Microphone: Requested only when you use voice features (voice input in sessions, audio journal). Never recorded without your action.
• Location: Requested only if you enable GPS-based family matching. You can disable this at any time from your profile settings.

8. Intellectual Property

All app content, design, and AI companion identities are the property of Autism Spectrum Help. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission. User-generated content remains your own property, but by posting it you grant us a license to display it within the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

Autism Spectrum Help is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and COPPA (US children's privacy). You are responsible for ensuring your use of the platform complies with any professional obligations you may have under HIPAA or other health privacy laws.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
